ArcPrime vs. Patlytics: Full Lifecycle IP Management vs. Stand Alone Litigation Analytics
Patlytics analyzes patents for litigation but does not hold the docket. ArcPrime is the full lifecycle IPMS with an intelligence layer that holds the docket and runs claim charts, pruning, and prosecution AI on it. A side by side look for in house IP teams.

Key Differences
Core capabilities designed to solve your most critical IP challenges.
Analytics Tool vs. System of Record
ArcPrime is the system of record. Claim charts, pruning, and prosecution AI run on the same record that holds your deadlines, so the analysis and the docket are never two systems to reconcile. Patlytics is an analytics tool with no docket of its own, which means a separate IPMS underneath it.
Litigation First vs. Lifecycle First
ArcPrime starts from the portfolio record and the USPTO legal events feed, then layers infringement, invalidity, and claim analysis on top of it, so every finding lands on a live case. Patlytics starts from the litigation question, with no portfolio record beneath it.
Renewals
ArcPrime predicts maintenance fees, recommends what to prune using family and redundancy analysis, and can automate payment. Patlytics flags low potential assets and leaves the fee, the deadline, and the payment to another system.
Prosecution Intelligence
ArcPrime pairs AI office action responses with examiner level analytics and USPTO sync, so the response is written against the examiner's history and filed against the live docket. Patlytics generates responses without the docket or the examiner data behind them.
Who It Is Built For
ArcPrime is built for the in house team that owns the portfolio and its budget, with outside counsel and inventors working inside the same account and no seat count to manage. Patlytics leads with law firm workflows and also serves corporate customers.
Litigation Depth
ArcPrime builds claim charts with infringement scoring inside the system of record, so competitive monitoring and litigation readiness sit on the same file as the docket, the prosecution history, and the renewals. Patlytics goes deeper on the litigation toolkit itself, including SEP and claim construction analysis, for a team charting many targets at once.
How to Switch from Patlytics to ArcPrime
Typical Migration Timeline
Most teams go live on ArcPrime in weeks from kickoff. Because Patlytics has no docket of its own, the move consolidates the record and the analysis into one platform.
White Glove Migration Support
ArcPrime engineers import portfolio data from your current system, reconcile applications against USPTO records, validate family relationships, and stand up claim charting, pruning, and prosecution workflows from day one.
Part of the reason we chose ArcPrime is that it is optimized for in-house counsel. The migration itself was pretty painless. Everything I had heard about moving off our old system said it would be a very painful process, and ours was quick.

Feel free to reach out to us for more info.
Is ArcPrime a Patlytics replacement?
For in house teams, usually yes. ArcPrime includes claim charts, invalidity and FTO analysis, draft proofreading, and office action responses, and adds the docketing, renewals, and USPTO sync Patlytics does not provide.
Does Patlytics handle patent docketing?
No. Patlytics is not a standalone docketing system, so it requires a separate docketing or IP management system underneath it. ArcPrime holds the docket itself.
Both products make claim charts. What is the difference?
Patlytics charts as part of a litigation toolkit. ArcPrime's charts score infringement against named competitors and attach to the asset in the portfolio record, so the system that manages the patent also holds its enforcement analysis.
