Two PDF reports address unclaimed subject matter and broader claim scope. The analysis includes:
- Unclaimed subject matter. Disclosed technical concepts that may fall outside the scope of existing claims in the patent family.
- Claim broadening strategies. Alternative claim formulations directed to broader scope supported by the original disclosure.
- Draft independent claims. Proposed claim language for the identified opportunities, accompanied by specification support.
- Recommendation and rationale. The preferred claim direction and the reasons for the recommendation. Where no additional claim is recommended, the report explains the basis for that conclusion.
